Best drinks in the area, this is a true hidden gem. Speakeasy in the back of a restaurant with a great vibe and very kind and fun bar staff. Javier and Pari (Angel) killed it. Javi is a true mixologist and nailed every drink we tried. I loved his whiskey sour, and the Woodford smoked old fashioneds are very solid if you like smoke. My wife had a Taipo fizz, and the presentation alone is worth it, but it tastes fantastic. Very balanced and layered cocktails here, did not expect to find this in Arlington. Must try, 10/10

GOOOOOAAAAAALLL!!! 👇👇👇👇👇 My son and I grabbed a bite to eat and beers at this majestical place and we couldn’t have been more delighted. Having met some great new friends from Nepal at the Australia - Egypt World Cup match at Cowboy field prior to our visit, we were riding a wave of enthusiasm from Egypt’s incredible victory bettering Australia in PKs after regulation. One of our new friends from Nepal happens to own this bar Taipo and invited us to grab a post-game pint and watch the Argentina game. Upon entering this incredible oasis, I was immediately struck by the decor. Darkened wood with gold trim and accents gave the place a cool, somber vibe. Clearly the owner had taken steps to bring the heritage from his homeland of Nepal into this bar using architectural elements to transform the space. Once your eyes get used to the darkened rooms, you begin to focus on the details reflecting Nepalese decor. The menu is loaded with a wide variety of appetizers and foods. My son and I split the pan-seared chicken momo and it was amazing! The mixture of flavors reminded me of the magical salt-fat-acid-heat combination which makes so many dishes above and beyond your everyday bar food.

Great vibe, great food, great drinks and the best service by Javier, Angel and Rajeet. Highly recommend! The kitchen is open until 1:30 on the weekends, and 11:30 during the week, so it’s a great option for late night dining!

Great food often appears in the most unexpected places — including at the end of the long hallway connecting Taipo to its Behind the Door concept. The keema noodles were our standout favorite, with the pan-fried momo close behind. The cocktail menu is both creative and substantial, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is lively and fun. Add in stellar service, and it makes for an all-around excellent experience.

Absolutely delicious – a hidden gem in Arlington! I tried the Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was perfectly crispy and juicy. The fries were hot and well-seasoned, and I loved that they have vegetarian and vegan options too. The dumplings are massive and packed with flavor. Late-night hours are a huge plus, and the staff was super friendly. Everything felt fresh, and the whole experience was easy from ordering to pickup. Can’t wait to come back and try the salads and desserts. Highly recommend!
